Hello Hello, it's been a while. Well, Christmas is just around the corner and I still have yet to finish wrapping the presents. Groceries of the Orient Lao Market in Burnsville, MN.

Very upset! Went to "Groceries of the Orient" Asian Market yesterday (in Burnsville, MN) and was treated very badly.  The cashier, a woman named "Lu", was not very friendly.  I tried to make conversation with her and was being as polite as I possibly could.  I found out that the Owners were Lao.  I asked what their names were and she asked me why I wanted to know... like she was hiding something!  How rude!! If you don't want people to know who you are... then don't have a business where you… Continue

Fantastic Line up for 2nd Laotian Conference in D.C. August 5th, 6th

The 2nd Laotian National Conference is just around the corner and it’s not too late to register. You have plenty of time. You can either register now or at the conference on August 5th, 6th, but space is limited so it’s best to preregister. Even though this conference is created with the Lao community in mind, we welcome all organizations and people who are interested in language, cultural performances, the youth, education, advocacy, mental and physical wellbeing. This is one of the…
