Matthew 28:2-6 – He is not here; He has risen, just as He said

There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.

Notice how the angel of the Lord bypasses the guards and speaks to women about the resurrection.

God chose to reveal His truth to a people group who, in that day, could not testify in a court of law. God’s love challenges our paradigms in order to free us to be the children of God.

As the apostle Paul writes, there is neither male nor female in Christ. What was scandalous in the 1st Century becomes freeing for all of eternity.

The resurrection is an event that includes everybody! Happy Easter!

Brother Manumit, I forget to explain why I bring the "cup" up in different language. That Western monk said that "Everybody can use "cup" to drink when one is thirsty, is the same thing that :"cup" is the same meaning of "God" when will talks to him when they suffer. "God/Nirvana" like the Huge Ocean, every rivers at the end run to the Ocean.

Bless us all

Dear brother Manumit, I like to share and learn from you and other in spiritual journey. Please don’t get me wrong, I am not try to attack or insult about Christian or any religion believer or Atheist (who has Moral and Ethic). I love Jesus and believe in God too. I believe in God through Buddha way. I understand that in Christian or Catholic, Islam, etc. Every followers have faith in each individual believe, so I respect that deeply. In Buddhism we call God like Nirvana/Natural Truth/God in you/Buddha in You, Eternal Truth, etc. Some spiritual people with different believe beside follow Jesus way, they call God like “Inner self, Inner Voice, Higher self, etc. I don’t mean to speak for them but I learn and read about other religions by using my own inner knowledge (instinc, inner voice, etc.) to guide me, or people who lable name “God”, can say (God guides me). There is s God or whatever each individual prefer to call on “that Finalize Truth”. One Western Monk says that, in English they call “cup or mug”, in Lao they call “Jog”, in Spanish calls “copa”, in Thai calls “Kel Num”, etc. The same word “God”, Muslim/Islam calls “Allah”, Buddhist calls “Nirvana”

Please let me share you to the question you were not quite sure why that Laotian man at the temple said that “he believe in himself, not from reading”. He took that phrase from Buddha teaching. Buddha taught people to believe in his/her self because Buddha is not God. He had to work himself through Meditation to reach God in him, in his own way. Buddha had taught himself to be with God for over six years, through different mind and body tortures. So, he does not want his follower to believe every thing he taught. He just guided them and support his followers for their journey to God by his/her self. Because if we believe every Priest and Monk we might regret or might lost in the spiritual journey to reach God/Nirvana. Example: Some priests are Child molester, even he teaches bible, read bible in the church every Sunday, or might be every day at home! But people mind if they are not reach God yet, they will change back and forth. That’t why we have people are very good people but still doing bad thing (That’s the true of life- Buddha said). Some Buddhist Monks are rapist, or robbers, who desire to escape from the law then hide in the robe Monk’s life too. So, that’s why the Laotian man he said, he believe himself.

For the “Buddhism Scriptures or Pitaka” Buddha said that after he is gone, his students might in put, each individual own words, or own phrase in the “Pitaka”. So, he said to read as a guide but not to believe right away until one can see it is work for him/her.

Here are the teaching of the Buddha to every Buddhists followers:
THESE WISE WISDOM FROM THE BUDDHA:
DISCERNING RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS

The Buddha instructs the Kalama People on which basis one should decide which religious teaching to accept as true. The Buddha tells the Kalamas to not just believe religious teachings because they are claimed to be true by various sources or through the application of various methods and techniques. He urges that direct knowledge from one's own experience should be called upon. He counsels that the words of the wise should be heeded and taken into account when deciding upon the value of a teaching. This is not a dogmatic acceptance but rather a constantly questioning and testing acceptance of those teachings which can be proven to reduce suffering.

1. Do Not Accept Anything ON MERE HEARSAY (ie, thingking that thus have we heard it for a long time).
2. Do Not Accept Anything BY MERE TRADITION (ie, thingking that it has been handed down thus through many generations).
3. Do Not Accept Anything ON ACCOUNT of RUMOURS (ie, by believing what others say without any investigation).
4. Do Not Accept Anything JUST BECAUSE IT ACCORDS WITH YOUR SCRIPTURES.
5. Do Not Accept Anything BY MERE SUPPOSITION.
6. Do Not Accept Anything BY MERE INFERENCE.
7. Do Not Accept Anything BY MERELY CONSIDERING THE APPEARANCES.
8. Do Not Accept Anything MERELY BECAUSE IT AGREES WITH YOURPRECONCEIVED NOTIONS.
9. Do Not Accept Anything MERELY BECAUSE IT SEEMS ACCEPTABLE (ie, should be accepted). and
10. Do Not Accept Anything THINKING THAT THE ASCETIC IS RESPECTED BY US (nor upon the consideration, "The monk is our teacher" and that therefore it is right to accept his word).

When you your self know:
THESE THINGS ARE GOOD;
THESE THINGS ARE NOT BLAMABLE;
THESE THINGS ARE PRAISED BY THE WISE; UNDERTAKEN AND OBSERVED,
THESE THINGS LEAD TO BENEFIT AND HAPPINESS, ENTER ON AND ABIDE IN THEM.

But for his Chanting or Buddhist praying, the Scripture did not change:
The core of Buddhism is to meditate until you are be one with God. Like the Jesus way saying “In the Stillness, thou Shall know Me”.
Here is Buddha’ chanting word:

"SANDITTHIGO (For one who learns and practices will realize by one-self);
AKALIKO (Being able to practice with fruitful result and no limited time);
OPANAYIKO (Leading inward, deeper in the heart);
EHIPASSIKO (Can inviting others to come and see);
PACCATTANG VEDI TABBO VINYUHI (To be seen and experiencable by the wise for oneselves);
TAMAHANG DHAMMANG ABHIPUJAYAMI (I worship most highly that DHAMMA);
TAMAHANG DHAMMANG SIRASA NAMAMI (To that DHAMMA, I bow my head down)."

With Love and Respect,
God Bless us All
Amen (:
